I'm still getting to know the old (1991) B6200 HST 4WD tractor we bought in early December. The 3 pt hitch is very slow to go up. The hydraulic fluids were changed about 37 hours ago, with a new filter installed at the same time. Hydraulic fluid level is good. Ran engine at 2500 rpm. What are the possible reasons for the slow lift?

Well I seemed to have solved 99% of the issues on this one. I was not able to find longer 3 pt arms locally, at least not that would fit with my other 3 pt components, and I really didn't want to buy a complete new 3 pt system if it was not needed. So I reversed the tires as was suggested. Again this was HUGE for more space.

I am supposed to have a mounting kit around somewhere. The hitch with model number 917.253110 seems to work okay with it. I tried the hitch with the shorter handle. It worked but the short handle was kind of awkward. I recomment the 110 model hitch. The mounting kits were made with some pretty good steel.

So let's say you have 3 pt. forks and you want to have a small water tank to carry (no trailer etc). Obviously that tank isn't sitting right over the hitch pins . . Its over the forks whole size.
